Site Surf ~ Case Study

Challenge
An global retailer of office suppliers needed to increase consumer registrations on its website. Visitors were coming to the site, putting items in their shopping cart but then on the registration page, many were abandoning the process. SiteSurf was used to study specifically why this was happening. Two registration forms were created, one longer than the other. Using SiteSurf technology, two groups of 100 study participants were sent to each form where they were asked to complete the registration process. 

Results
+ The results were quite clear. Over 73% of the study participants chose the second registration form, stating they would be "extremely likely" to complete the form online. 
  
+ The retailer implemented the registration form changes and overall registrations increased 15% within the first two weeks of the change.
